Making a Kunai Throwing Knife (Naruto)
I wanna get into forging and ill be getting stuff to do so for my upcoming birthday. Do you guys have any tips?
what this oil
Excellent design! When forging over longer periods, what is the best way to deal with ash?
the neck of that spear is very slim but all in all very nice little spear lol
For the size of the point…got to agree. Held up well though and was sure fun to make. Thanks for watching!
What type of oil did you use to quench?
That’s canola oil Thanks for watching!
C'est triste de se dire que dans notre monde actuel, ce genre d'artisanat est passé dans l'ombre. Ce n'est plus assez reconnu. 😒
awesome spear
Fasten dowN thAT ANVIL!!! AAAAAAARGH!
Which oil did you used for quench?
That’s canola oil. Thanks for asking and watching!
@@BurningOakForge Oh really?! I thought it was an engine oil.
Secure your anvil. It's movement is robbing the energy from your hammer strikes. It will also reduce the ringing. So will magnets or a chain.
Got that covered! Older video. You’ll notice a huge difference in the more recent stuff. Magnets did trick for the sound. Less ear splitting ring, more thud. Eliminated the rocking as well. Thanks for watching!
часто задавался вопросом, почему многие куют железнодорожные костыли, матерьял ведь стремный...Ответ очевиден, куеться легко, да и не калиться эта сталь, те калить конечно можно, только толку никакого..
I watch the video many times, and I can’t figure out what kind of bowstring you used?
If I remember correctly we used some braided anchor line. It could handle the lbs so we went with it. Still holds up to this day so it was a good choice. Thanks for watching!
@@BurningOakForge Thenks👌🏻
Nice job. Well done on file work. Wow. Thanks
Thanks for the kind words. It was a fun project for sure. Came out better than expected.
Can you share some overall dimentions?
I like to add a twist to the handle. Great knife shape!
We thought about doing that but just really liked the smooth look. Next one though will have a twist no doubt. Thanks for watching!
Ok but you really need to tied down that anvil before it falls on your toes...
No doubt haha looking back that was an accident waiting to happen. In newer videos you’ll notice a stark difference. Thanks for watching!
Blade looks weak at the socket
Hi. Nice video, an good explantion in a calm way. I appreciate it. But one hint. Filing would be much easier und much more precise, if you would grasp the file in the way, i learned it. If you are right handed, right hand at the handle and left hand at the tip of the file. Than file with very low force. My teacher sayed, don't press to mess.
Hi, definitely going to remember that and give that a try. Thanks for watching and for the tip!
I dont know if your still active but what kind of rope did you use for the string?😊😊
Still active! It was a braided anchor rope. Something we had laying around at the time. It held up good. Thanks for watching!
That's looks to be the cheapest and most simple forge build that I've seen. I will definitely give it a try. May you produce more helpful and educational videos in the future.
Thank you, hope it works out for you and you can create some awesome projects!
Does the lenth of the stock effect power
awesome. is it an S hook?
Thank you! and yes, the full videos on the channel if you want to check it out.
Ok
The music had me thinking this was a movie clip
Wow that is so cool
I want to hear from you. Have you ever used a flint striker to start a fire? Thank you all for watching and commenting!
yes! very fun and easy as long as you have some fresh charcloth :)

For the forge sputtering that is happening I recommend adding in compressed air or extra oxygen in some way or form. I have had professionals telling me to increase the gas pressure but it doesn't always work. If you increase the air pressure and going into the forge it greatly increases the temperature. You can add coal or coke to the bottom of the forge to protect forge and reduce some of the oxygen in the environment.
Thanks for the tip!
This seems like the perfect way to start, even just for heat treatment
The couch arrived in two boxes four days early, which was great because we'd just moved into a new house and needed places to sit. My son and I put it together pretty quickly ruclips.net/user/postUgkxitRzxya-XugamYgLwa_2G1gxPg4MCJHa . Another reviewer suggested inserting the seat into the side and I'm glad they did as the instructions weren't clear on that matter. It's incredibly light and slides easily across the wood floor, making it easy to move. It's firm, but comfortable. It will even be great to nap on. I got the gray, which definitely has strong blue undertones, but I'm okay with that.
You are extremely talented. I’m most impressed with your ability to make highly complex items with very basic tools. Well done.
@BurningOakForge, 🎶Push it! Push it real good!🎶
That spirit is absolutely cool great job do something else make a hatchet that would be super cool to
its around 250 lbs?
I appreciate the video. I was wanting to use Japanese characters for a touchmark, yeah I don’t think I will do that for my first try😂
Wicked blade man.
BurningOakForge How long is the blade?
burnman you keep burning I want you to keep burning until your dog stand on all too and have a conversation with you and you are commanded not to stop until you hear Archie Bunker say the name Meathead and if you ever think about going against these orders better just 7 you got chosen son 👁️🥸 I would love you to fashing my symbol nia insignia enough in the the joking going to have a sense of humor but your bloodline very rare I think you should make it
